Information security milestone achieved – SHS Group certified ISO/IEC 27001-compliant by TÜV

“IT security is a key component of the IT & Digitalization Roadmap we launched in 2022, which is aimed at modernizing, standardizing, and harmonizing our processes and systems,” explained Jonathan Weber, member of the Board of Management of SHS - Stahl-Holding-Saar and Chief Financial and Transformation Officer of Dillinger and Saarstahl. An information security management system (ISMS) designed to cover the entire Group has meanwhile been instituted and is now certified by TÜV Saarland. “This confirms the effectiveness of our ISMS within the defined scope for the modern workplace, and it underscores our long-term commitment to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information,” affirmed Daniel Kastner, Head of Information Security and Information Security Officer of the SHS Group.

With ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the SHS Group has reached a milestone while also forming the basis for sustainably continuing to develop its IT security. Jonathan Weber: “This enables us to meet the increasingly detailed requirements of our customers and to tap into new markets. Our customers and business partners can rely on a high degree of transparency, reliability and security in the handling of their sensitive data.”
