Dr. Bernd Münnich appointed to Executive Officer, Technical Division

In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Aktien-Gesellschaft der Dillinger Hüttenwerke (Dillinger Hütte) appointed Dr. Bernd Münnich, 52, to a 5-year term as Executive Officer, Technical Division, effective 1 January 2015.
Dr. Bernd Münnich began his career in 1991 in the Dillinger Hütte steelplant and managed various plants there from 1993 to 2007. Most recently he served as the Head of Human Resources for Dillinger Hütte and Saarstahl as well as Labor Director and member of the Management Board of Saarschmiede GmbH Freiformschmiede. There, the graduate engineer was also responsible for production planning and order controlling.
The Dillinger Hütte Management Board is composed of the following: Dr. Karlheinz Blessing (CEO), Dr. Günter Luxenburger (Sales), Fred Metzken (Finance), Dr. Bernd Münnich (Technical) und Peter Schweda (Human Resources, Labor Director).
