EcoVadis extends CSR award for Dillinger

EcoVadis, an international provider of business sustainability ratings, has again awarded the silver medal to Dillinger for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. Dillinger scored 65 points in its industry category. The assessment is valid until July 2021.
The CSR rating confirms that responsible conduct and sustainable business management are firmly embedded in the corporate culture of Dillinger. Dillinger assumes responsibility towards its employees, customers and business partners as well as the environment. It is the aim of Dillinger to produce steel in the most advanced and sustainable way and to contribute to more environmentally friendly production of steel.
The EcoVadis rating is based on a defined scorecard. This scorecard also incorporates the criteria of the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and the International Organization for Standardization in the areas of environment, labor practices, fair business practices, and sustainability in procurement. The establishment of specific evaluation criteria enables a worldwide comparison of companies certified by EcoVadis.
